We need to talk to the females today.  We need women and girls of all ages, ethnicities, sizes, and looks.  If you are female, please consider taking a moment in the next few weeks to be a part of something SUPER FUN AND AWESOME! As some of you may know, we've had a song in the works called "Supermodel Astronaut" for a while.  We finally have an unmastered mix put together and would LOVE to get your faces and whole persons in our video for this.  YOU CAN DO THIS WHEREVER YOU ARE.

All you need to do is  film video of yourself lip syncing to our song with complete commitment and full abandon.  You can use your computer's isight camera, your iPhone, your video camera... whatever you've got.  The whole point of this video is to show that regular women are rock stars or "supermodel astronauts" just for being their own fabulous hard working selves.  You can show just your face, you can dance around the room, you can be outrageous and silly.  You do not need to get fixed up, the more regular the better.  In fact, if you work in an office or hospital or retail outlet or restaurant, and would like to film it with some female co-workers in your work clothes, that would be fantastic.  Or if you live in a city or in the country, you could film it with that as your background.  Or if you want to film it in your kitchen or bathroom or living room, that's fine too.  Or if you're a mom and want to film it in the front seat of your car with your kids strapped in the back seat behind you, go for it!  The whole point is diversity.

If you're interested, please respond and let us know.  We will get you a link to download an mp3 of the mix, the lyrics, and further instructions for uploading your video once you've filmed it.  We really hope to get a lot of different woman and girls in all types of lifestyles and settings represented in this video.  The more the merrier!  

It will be posted on YouTube and promoted through our various social media profiles, and now that we have a publicist, it might be used promotionally in other ways as well.  Woo!!

Stems for Remixes & Kurt's a SUPERHERO!

Hello remixers!

As a part of their "Year of the Groove", Worldwide Groove Corporation will regularly be making stems of their original singles available for others to download and remix.  This way people can import these stems into their own music programming software and chop it up, reharmonize it, or even rap over it.    People who join the mailing list have free access to mp3 versions of the most important stems via the Reverb Nation player.  And those who prefer a lossless format and the entire collection of stems can find them on the WGC BandCamp page.  And those who complete a remix are welcome to share it with WGC.  Who knows?  It might just end up on the Just for Fun page!
